Wish You Were Here...

Wish You Were Here...
Today, we are sending postcards out into the wild. Blank postcards.
Usually, postcards carry bright, gorgeous scenes or funny pictures, and messages to loved ones to let them know we are thinking about them.
But what happens when the loved one is lost? One of the hardest things for me about losing my parents has been the way my brain short circuits sometimes, and I forget - and go to ring them to tell them something. Then my heart drops and I remember.
I am asking people to write a message to their lost loved ones on the postcards, and to decorate the other side with any image they wish. It doesn't have to be a major work of art - it can be a photo, a sketch, mixed media, fabric, painted - you get to choose. Our postcards will appear in a large scale art exhibition, and some of them will appear in the SadSaturation book.
If you would like to take part, and receive a postcard to be included, either send an SAE to SadSaturation
